How do I smash?
Keep your thumb on the screen and push it forward, toward the net, just as the ball reaches your paddle. A smash adds 3 to the pot; one timed exactly adds 5. If you would rather tap, turn on "Tap to smash" in Settings and tap with a second finger. A smash that misses leaves your paddle stunned for a moment, so don't flick at nothing.
What is the pot?
The number in the middle of the court. Every return adds to it. Whoever wins the point banks it: in Volo, Daily and Tour it is squared, and multiplied by your chain of points won in a row. Lose the point and it is gone.
What is the Vault?
A tenth of every coin you earn by playing is also set aside in the Vault, on the home screen. When it reaches 5,000 it can be opened with a one-off purchase. You never lose the coins you earned normally; the Vault is extra.
I won promotion but I'm still in the Arena
Division 1, the Dome, is part of Volo Pro. If you finish in the top two of the Arena without Pro, the promotion is held for you: unlock Pro and the roof opens at the start of the next season. Nothing you won is lost.
Can I replay a league match I lost?
No. Losses stand: that is what makes the table mean something. A season is seven fixtures and about half an hour, so you are never far from another go. Any club you have met can be played as a friendly, which never touches the table.
What is Full Colour?
A one-off purchase that opens the phone's colour picker (wheel, sliders and hex) for your crest and kit, so any colour is yours, exact to the number. It is included in Volo Pro. The 36 palette colours, every crest shape, field and device are free for everyone.
Where do highlights go?
After a match with a big moment in it, the results screen offers to keep it. Your best ten are under Stats, then Highlights. A highlight is the match itself, replayed by the game, and for Volo, Chaos, Classic and Zen it comes with a code a friend can type to play the same moment.
I bought Pro and it isn't unlocked
Open Settings in the game and tap Restore purchases while signed in with the Apple ID that bought it.
My coins didn't arrive
Coin packs are credited the moment Apple confirms the purchase. If one is pending (Ask to Buy, for example) it arrives on its own once approved. Still missing? Write to us with the date of purchase.
Refunds and cancelling
Purchases are handled by Apple. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Why only three Daily tries?
Everyone gets the same rival, the same court and the same three tries, so a Daily score means the same thing for everybody.
I moved to a new phone
Sign in to the same iCloud account and your scores, coins and unlocks arrive on their own, usually within a minute of opening the game. Pro and the Starter Pack come back with Restore purchases.
